This all looks great @hapster. Do you cook the breasts in those trays? Not sure if it's worth trying to save the drippings for gravy.CheersB_BFinally back in the Badger State!

Looks like a great plan as always Hap. Hope you and your's have a wonderful and safe weekend. Wish I could Egg tomorrow but after a 9 day stretch at work Thanksgiving will be left to my sister-in-law and wife. I'm f@#ing beat and ready to just sit on the deck with my brother-in-law sip a bourbon with a stick, and watch football.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

No the pans u see are just for holding and transporting them to the egg... I'll do them on a indirect setup with a v rack. First one is going to be cut for the late sandwiches and the second will be for dinner. Will use the drippings from the under the grid pan to make the gravy. Did one a couple of weeks ago and it was the best turkey and gravy I've done yet.

Just a quick tip. Don't stick your finger in the cigar cutter and spin it around. watched an alcohol impaired friend do that and it wasn't pretty.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA

Lol... Never been that drunk. These things are sharp enough to do circumcisions... No fingers or anything else is going in thereTjcoley said:Just a quick tip. Don't stick your finger in the cigar cutter and spin it around. watched an alcohol impaired friend do that and it wasn't pretty.

That stuffing looks and sounds awesome. I'm hosting this year..and sadly my mother-in-law is a huge fan of boxed stuffing and that's what we "make" when she's hear. Do you even "make" boxed stuffing? It's like an insult around here if we make fresh stuffing....has to be in the box. SWBMO won't dare let me make it from scratch if the M.I.L is here.
-
@mb99zz
Tell her to bring her own then... I make it with Pepperidge Farm bagged Herb Stuffing and add the veggies and sausage.
I established the rule 13 years ago... You either eat what I'm cooking, or bring your own, I won't be offended. Grew up watching my mom do everything from scratch, my MIL, not so much LOL

I'm pretty sure that's a coffee and Bailey's or something along those lines, but a big part of me likes to think you're warming up with a steaming cup of gravy (haha).
Enjoy the cook, and the day.

LOL... Nope just coffee for now. Once I'm sure I have the first breast done okay; then all bets are off.Black_Badger said:I'm pretty sure that's a coffee and Bailey's or something along those lines, but a big part of me likes to think you're warming up with a steaming cup of gravy (haha).
