Rutland/ Clean Burn

Obviously a factory gasket won't stand a chance to a clean burn.. Will a Rutland Gasket go unharmed during a clean burn, or will you have issues as we'll?

The flat braided Rutland gasket withstands 2,200 degrees IN a fire that hot! Furthermore when that gasket is properly applied to the edge of an egg and subjected to a burn off it never even gets to half of that temperature.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I've never had a problem with the gasket burning....it's always been the adhesive that gives and then the gasket comes off. My Egg hit 900 plus just the other week as I got side tracked in the house.
