Filets at the in-laws, traveling with the small

Just tossed the small in the trunk. Took the dome off because my backs been sore. Took about 5 min to get it out of the table and in the car.
Mom wanted filets and asked me to do the grilling. I almost didn't go to the "trouble" of moving the small, but that is the reason I bought it right?? So instead of their gasser I'm bringing little Pat.

Did you marinate the filets? Just wondering what the brown liquid is on the steaks. Worcestershire?

You know what was hilarious??
I didn't tell them I was bringing the egg. When I showed up my father in law was working on the gasser because it was broke!!_______________________________________________XLBGE -

@eggcelsior
I think she uses dales. I wouldn't have marinated them but she had already done it when I got there._______________________________________________XLBGE -

Ha no. Actually MIL does all the grilling unless I'm there. They just bought that gasser about 5 months ago and I couldn't talk them into an egg just strictly for convince of the gasser.R2Egg2Q said:Looks like a tasty meal! FIL still not ready to upgrade to an Egg yet?

Egg was around 650 and seared 2 min a side, than took off egg and made it indirect and let it settle in around 450 and put back on flipping until they got 125 took 3 off and the let the other 3 get to 135_______________________________________________XLBGE -
