Dr. BBQ - temps listed in his book

Dr. BBQ states in his Backyard Championship Ribs recipe that "you should prepare your cooker for indirect grilling at 325 degrees."[p]Is this dome temp or grid level temp?[p]I am assuming that since hot air rises that if it was 325 dome it would be much less at grid level?[p]Thanks for you advice.

Meinbmw,
I have been wondering the same thing. Right now smoking ribs I am seeing a 30 degree temp difference.
-
My guess is that it's the grid temp. Dr. BBQ isn't specifically writing for the BGE, so I would assume he means "Whatever cooker you have, make it so the meat will cook at 325."[p]HTH,

Meinbmw, go with the Dome temp, it's simpler. And that is what his book is about....good bbq done simple.
