Cooked a suckling pig, 10lbs, in my large egg. Incredible! Apple wood smoke, 6 hours at 250.

thats amazing I want to do that not sure where I can get a suckling pig from there aren't many farms in my neck of the woods ,I'm going to talk to the local butcher and see if he can help me out with this ,I really want to do that !2 Large Eggs and a Mini 2 Pit Bulls and a Pork shoulder or butt nearby and 100% SICILIANLong Island N.Y.

Awesome cook, I assume the 10 lb. weight was dressed? Any idea what the live weight was? Who did the scalding and scraping? I would love to give that a try, please post details.

10-11lb suckling pig...
Temp 250 degrees for 6 hours. Didn't do anything to it but salt, pepper and garlic salt on the inner cavity. After, wrapped him up with foil and towels and put him in the Yeti for a bit. It was unbelievable.

10-11 lbs was dressed. No prep for me at all, bought it from a farmer. that size was perfect for a Large BGE. Find a local farmer who does whole pigs for people for roasting, call them and ask for a suckling and tell them the weight you are looking for. This pig fed about 10 easily, with some other choices of bbq
