I'm thinking about an over night pork shoulder but the weather is calling for a chance of rain early in the morning. I have no cover for my egg so if it rains it will be out in the open. Any suggestions? Anybody ever use the egg in the rain??

I have Egged in a downpour with no ill effects. Rain, snow, whatever the weather, the Egg will maintain temp. If its raining real hard, you may want an umbrella when you take the meat off, but the rain won't affect the cook.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. Thanks Tj. I'm thinking about going for it. Already have the pork rubbed down so the only left to do is fire up the egg!

I egg in all types of weather. Sometimes I take my umbrella from the table and stand near the egg. This is only so I do not get soaked.
