Pinholes in XL Dome

I've had my XL for approximately 18 months. Last week I noticed that there were four or give places on the dome where there were little holes (about the size of a "large" pinhole) on the dome. I contacted BGE customer service and they indicated this was normal, and wasn't anything to worry about. Has anyone else seen this on their Egg?
