Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

I did this last weekend.  My drive was about 40 minutes.  I had four full racks.  Just as I took them off the egg, I cut each rack into quarter pieces, double foil wrapped them, wrapped them in a very thick beach towel, and put them into a cooler.   I did the same with some corn on the cob that I grilled right before leaving.

When I got to my destination, the ribs and the corn were still extremely hot.  Everyone was shocked by how hot they were (me too).
