I was going to make pizza tonight but I saw Kroger had jumbo sized italian sausage on sale for 1 buck each so I picked up the 10 pack and picked up a bag of mini sweet peppers. Was not going to do anything special with them but grill them. I like my char kept on and wow the flavor on these things were amazing! So sweet!
Got the Egg up to 400 and stable and threw on the sausage and peppers
These things were so big it took about 20 minutes for me to get a nice char on the sausage which I really love
Nothing special here on the sandwich just the hoagie roll, sausage and 2 mini peppers sliced up they'll eventually be topped with ketchup
Large BGE

That looks great Eddie. If you have any leftovers...just to throw out a suggestion try topping with marinara and parm/mozz on a hoagie. Props to Doc Eggerton for that idea.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Man I bet that was tasty! I have some of those peppers left over from last week. I may need to find some sausages to grill up and use them up like this! =D>Large & Small BGE, CGW Two-Tier Swing Rack for BOTH EGGS, Spider for the Wok, eggCARTen & and Cedar Pergola my Eggs call home in Edmond, OK.
