Demo Eggs/Eggfests Question

I am wanting to add a medium Egg to my XL in the near future. Are all sizes available at a discount from the Eggfests? If thats the case, I can wait until the Plano Eggfest to get one. The only thing is, last year they were only cooking on LG and XL's that I can remember. Any thoughts? From looking at the Georgia Eggfest site, all sizes are available.

I think it depends on the fest. I was hoping Texas would have smalls, no-go.

I think it depends on the dealer supplying the demo eggs. For Salado, Mickey had posted contact info for the dealer, so folks could contact hem directly with questions etc. I had called to see if i could get a better price on a small egg, but there was little difference between Houston area dealers and the price at Salado. If you can get the contact info for the dealer in question, call them and see what they can do for you.

Good question. I have a meeting with the Plano Fest sponsor tomorrow. I'll ask them.

@Plano_JJ The Georgia Mountain Eggfest is offering all sizes.  @egret recently stated in another thread to someone who was getting a Mini from them that the Mini wasn't even going to be unpacked because it can't really be used a whole lot at a fest.  So I guess it really varies per fest.

I bought my XL at a fest this year and it never got used either. Fest are great for buying eggs. Not to metion the chance to meet great people and get a ton of new ideas. Egg people are just fun to hang out with.

Plano_JJ, my meeting has been postponed, I'll keep on top of it. I'm sure it can be handled.

At Salado the Medium had to be paid in advance to get one. The Larges not so.....

Salado TX Egg Family: 2 Large and a very well used Mini, just added a Mini Max +++ 5th Salado EggFest is March 14, 2015 http://saladoeggheadgathering.blogspot.com

  • With the majority of people that attend the eggfests likely being egg owners already it seems silly not to have a mini, small and medium there for demos.

I mean, who wouldn't be interested in a second egg once they see how other are using it?

I bet someone doing stirfry or sides on a small would draw quite a bit of interest.

I would probably buy a small demo with a nest if it were under 5 bills.

I saw that. Unfortunately no one near Austin wants to match that.
