When hooking up the partyQ do I need to the temp right where I want it or just get the fire stable? Like if I want 350 when do I let it take over?

I let the Party Q take over once the fire is well established. The blower just brings the fire up to temp quicker. (Kinda like the eggcelerator BGE sells). It slows down as it gets close to temp to minimize overshoot. No need to wait for it to come up to temp. If you are going to use it in the cold, Lithium batteries are worthwhile, they last much longer in the cold than alkaline (regular)Enjoying life in Cincinnati, Ohio - Large BGE & MiniMax BGE
