EGG has made me a hero (with pics)!
Another weekend, another bunch of good cooks! Friday night was a pizza party - awesome on a 600 degree EGG! Saturday night was the pork tenderloin with blackberry sauce (guests couldn't believe how tender it was!). Served that with mustard potato salad and fresh pear salad. Finished it off with blackberry cobbler in a CI dutch oven on a 375 degree EGG - awesome, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melted over it.
So...two weeks of cooks and some of the best meals we've ever had. Family and guests are believers! Pictures are no good, but we were too anxious to eat to do anything more than quick cell phone snaps.
Thanks to everyone on the forum for all the great tips so far!

Very nice! You will find fewer reasons to go out to eat in the very near future. Keep up the great cooks!DavidBBQ since 2010 - Oh my, what I was missing.

That's the setter. I use the setter legs up, grate, then the BGE raised grate, which works great to get the pies a couple of inches higher than the gasket. Stone goes on that and heats for 30-45 min before first pie touches down.

Awesome! How does the EGG treat your CI dutch oven? I have le Creuset and don't think there's anyway I'm using that on there.XLBGE- Napa, CA by way of ATX

Not sure what you mean, but things were great. My sense is that lots of people use CI dutches and skillets. I definitely plan to use mine out there a lot
