Kabobs: Mushroom Advice

When you guys/gals add mushrooms to your kabobs, are you putting them on raw or are you somehow pre-cooking them?   The last time I did chicken kabobs with mushrooms, I felt like the mushrooms came about a bit too undercooked while the rest of the veggies were fine.

    I don't pre-cook mushrooms for my kabobs and I'm happy with my results. If you have somewhat large mushrooms maybe halving them before cooking would help get them more done to your liking.
