I have an XL and for low and slow it will go and go. I have smoked pork buts for 17 hours and was nowhere near using all of the coals. I have a friend who might want to add a small or mini egg to his pellet grill.
What is the maximum low and slow time on the small and mini?
Are they big enough to do two big steaks or ribs?
Thanks.

Kind of hard to say maximum cook times as it depends on many factors like the cooking temp, the kind or density of lump, & how full you load it. Using a dense lump (Wicked Good in my case) & filling the Mini just over mid way up the fire ring I cooked a 5 lb butt in just over 5 hrs cooking at 240-300 (specifics in the link @Solson005 posted). If I had cooked at 250 straight I'd guesstimate that it could gone about 8 hrs from lighting the Egg.
The longest I've cooked in my Small is 11 hrs in the 235-275 range and I'd guess it could have gone another hour. I seem to recall someone saying they got 14 hrs out of their Small but I don't recall who reported that or what their conditions were.
Here's a few more links to show the capacity of the two sizes.

Yes on two large steaks. My first Egg was a small. Then a Large, and won a Mini at Plano. The Small was just not used. I sold it and never looked back.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
