I've seen some cooks where guys describe having an already hot egg And then placing stone in for indirect. What's the max u can go without having the stone crack? I always worry and put the stone in before my egg even hits 300 dome. I use the amazon stones for the mini.

I have cracked three amazon stones for my mini. You beat me to the post. I need Answers as well. Wondering if they are just cheap ceramic or I am doing something wrong. Luckily they come in fours so I have one more left!Extra Large, Large, and Mini. Tucker, GA
