Greetings Eggheads,
Al did a great job on the T Shirt design for this year's fest.
Different this year is you can also get the shirts shipped to you and you can get them in different colors.

Early Bird Taster tickets are going fast! I have had to add more tickets 3 times. Fair warning, on Feb 15th the price goes up. There is only 15 Demo eggs

left and they will be gone soon. If you want one, order now! Grill man Dan will custom build them to your specs. The Crowne Plaza told me today, that standard rooms are almost gone at $119. Call the Crowne directly and tell them you are with the Eggfest and they will hook you up.

Hello all! I'm thinking about attending this Eggfest. I don't currently have a BGE, but plan to buy a demo egg. Is this event for anyone?

Yes the fest is for everyone. You will need to go to the registration page & register as there are not any walk up tickets. They sell demo BGE's at great discounted prices but you need to purchase those ahead of time also..we hope to see you there...

To start being an egghead you must attend an eggfest, buy an egg and give it to a forum member. Over a three year period the experienced forum egger will break-in your egg so that it will produce food with the correct taste. Please don't try this yourself. Several novices have ruined their egg by skipping this traditional break-in period. There are several members that specialize in fine tuning green eggs...my self included.

But not all forum members provide great customer service. They expect you to bring your new egg to them for the required break in period. I on the other hand gladly pick up your new egg after you pay for it and gently transport it to my location, provide it company of my veteran large and small to keep it company. I will call when it has been fined tuned.

I am taking a week vacation with my family and will be there. I have tickets, shirts and bought XL Egg paid ($850 for XL Demo) to go with my large egg. It was an awesome price.

Yes if the weather is nice there will be a group at the outside Tiki bar...if it isn't nice we will be at the bar inside...both are easy to find. There is also an afterparty Sat night in the back parking lot at the Crowne. There will be BGE's for you to cook on so bring food to cook & share, drinks & chairs...the after party is the best part of a fest IMHO.... =))
