My most favorite thing on Earth. My wife is a close 2nd.
For our pork chops, we like to first dredge them in flour seasoned with season salt. Then dipped in egg. Then dredged in panko to finish. Then fried up in a little bit of canola oil. It'll make you wanna smack your momma. It helps to have thicker cut chops so they don't dry out. We had some rice and okra on the side tonight. I also like to have hot sauce close by on poke chop night.

Some of the best looking non-egged food I have seen here.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Gotta love some good ole Southern comfort food. I went opposite approach tonight--- indian night! Nice cook.Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

I like okra even with the slime. My wife likes the flavor, but not the snot. She loves fried okra too though.

Can't beat southern classics - nicely done I love okra but growing it is a pain- has to be picked daily like beans. Dylan- where in the palmetto state do you live?Greensboro, NC

I'm in Columbia. I'm assuming you are in NC?

One of the things I miss most about my visiting my grandparents in S.C. is fried fresh okra. Only get frozen here in the midwest 95% of the time.
I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season. -
Yes but we have a plant in Cheraw- spend a decent amount of time there. Columbia is great spot- love Dianne's on Devine. Will be passing through there in April towards the motherland.Greensboro, NC

My wife has been to Dianne's and said it was really good. Hope to try it myself soon.

I love me some fried poke chops and some fried okra and some fried anything. Fried taters is one of my favorites. Damn nice being from the the south.

Nice cook. I like the way you do a lot of different breadings on your food to give it a crunchy coating on the outside. Right up my alley, I just don't do it as often as you.I hope for your sake Mrs. Dyal doesn't visit this board or your ranking on her list may make change for the worse.
