Baking on plate setter

Anyone know if I can put food directly on the plate setter itself? I want to make a pizza sub and my pizza stone doesn't quite work well with my egg. Thanks

It will work fine. Only problemwill be if you go too hot the crust will burn. That is the reason we use the pizza stone and spacers with the platesetter.
