Leaking smoke out of the back and side of my egg

Eggland,
i have just replaced my gasket and it leaks smoke (just the same before). what can i do to fix the problem?

    Gentley loosen the bolt for the top band..[p]I lean over the dome and put my weight (and in my case...that's considerable) on the top of the
    Egg. [p]Re-tighten band[p]Take a dollar bill...close the lid on it...and gentley tug the bill toward you (at different places around the dome) checking for fit![p]The resistance should be similar at each point...[p]Capice?[p]Evans

    Try loosening the band that secures the dome. Then have someone hold the dome in place and pressing it down tight. While they are holding it down, re-tighten the bolts on the band. IMHO you don't have a gasket problem as much as a band problem.[p]HTH
