Jazz up a Costco Rotisserie Chicken on the Egg

Decided for a quick dinner while I picked up some raw chickens to spatchcock. Couldnt pass the pre cooked 4.99 chicken so brought one home and it was cold. Split it and throw it on the egg, and it tasted much better than the standard taste they have. Cooked @ 300 - 350 for about 30 mins while I made some homemade pasta on the Kitchen Aid (shameless plug I know theres a lot of KA users here). Threw some pesto on the pasta, side of chicken good stuff.

Sknny, did it not dry out? Thats one thing I dont like abut these store bought rotis chicken. They are dry and taste like cardboard.

I've thought about doing that when my wife brought home a pre-cooked rotisserie. Glad to know it worked out. Looks great.I have jazzed up Pappa Johns pizza on the egg before and it worked pretty well .Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
