Cooking my first ATBs this afternoon. The biss says they need to be ready by 5:30. When do I put them on, direct or indirect, smoke or no smoke, and for how long? Thanks for the help forum!

I have some on right now. I get the best results indirect @ 225-250 for a couple hours. Some people will tell you just go direct at 375 for 45 minutes, but I don't think they turn out as good.

One hour at 300, but this advice is likely too late for your gathering. I did them tonight for my Mom and the rest of the family. Right after I did wings, same setup and temperature. Raised direct, 300.Marietta, East Cobb, GA
