Are you planning on a cook yourself? My favorite way of making grouper is "Blackened". That requires a white hot, CI skillet. I use my jet cooker for this. Unless I've shot it myself, I usually don't eat fish, because I'm reluctant to purchase it. Black grouper runs neck and neck with hogfish as a favorite.

400 direct and raised. I like Bad Byron's Jubilee® Seafood Seasoning

I was in Fl last week and fresh but from Costco or Sams is very good as well.

Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I used to stop and get a blackened grouper sandwich every year when we were in the keys. Chef Paul makes a decent blackened fish rib and like stated above some oil or butter in a nice hot pan and your good to go. I blacken my fish in a pan high temp for a minute or 2 a side and then switch to another egg to finish off raised direct at 350.
