Gave my grill away!

Went to the USA v Brazil match last night with some friends.  We staged
everything for tailgating at my place.  I loaded up the van, put my
grill in back and we headed off to the game.  As soon we get there, I
fill the chimney and get it going.  I then stop dead in my tracks.  The
meat is resting comfortably in the fridge back at my house!  Well the
BBQ gods were smiling on me.  A couple minutes after I confess to my
buddies that we're dining on chips, salsa, and rolls, two strangers
approach.  Recent college grad and his girlfriend brought a cooler of
food, but had no grill.  I was saved from a near total disaster (we did
have beer so all was not lost).  At the end, I sent the college grad
home with my old new braunsfeld smoker since I no longer need it.  Talk
about good karma; too bad none of it rubbed off on the U.S. national
team.

A new braunfels offset smoker, wow!!! After 3 cross country moves our smoker was not going to survive another. We left ours in CA with friends. It is probably one of the best smokers I ever bought and it served us well for over 20 years
What a nice gesture on your part

Austin, it wasn't a real big one and like yours, it was old.  I wasn't using it and my wife was glad to have it out of the yard.
