For all those Stoker users out there with Macs.

Using this for the first time on my Mac.  http://tvwbb.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9270072103/m/8761074426   So far it is working nicely.

I didn't know about StokerX.  I downloaded it, but couldn't get it to recognize my Stoker on the network (yes, I set the IP address).  It looks like a graphic monitoring system, but I don't see where you can control the temperature from your computer.

On my Mac, I also run Windows XP (VM Ware Fusion) and use Stokerlog, which allows you to change temps from your keyboard.  Here is a graph of a 21 hour brisket cook I did two years ago on Superbowl Sunday.  Around 1:30 on Sunday, I got concerned that the brisket wouldn't be ready by kickoff time, so I upped the temperature (from my Mac) from 225 to 250.  The black lines at the bottom show when the fan came on, the red line is the Egg temperature, and the other lines are the meat temperature.  I had put one probe in the flat, and the other in the point.

StokerX - yes you can change temps. No need for the Stoker default site or Stokerlog. Works great.

VI - took me a couple of tries but it did find my Stoker. Set it in pref and then close down StokerX and then relaunch. It should work.
