We want to cook a beef roast on the BGE and marinade it with red wine and garlic and some other seasonings. Does anyone have a recipe or has anyone tried this?

Here's one that is for 2 lbs of steak and if you doubled it, it would do a roast nicely.

Marinade in the fridge for 8 hrs.

    1/2 cup (125 mL) red_wine
2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped fresh thyme
    2 tbsp (25 mL) olive_oil
    3
    cloves garlic, smashed

    1/2 tsp (2 mL) each
    salt and pepper

    1 (2 lbs/1 kg) inside round
marinating steak, 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick
