Just put the green snuffer/rain cap on it. It'll be fine.
If you are really paranoid, use a tarp. They come in green

I sucked it up and forked over the $$$ for the official BGE cover. It works with my custom table too and again, it is official BGE....like this forum.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

I bought 2 Veranda brand covers off Amazon. One for my gasser and the other for the egg. The one I used for the egg was for a bullet smoker and it fits beautifully. They are made from a heavy canvas feeling material and have been very durable. I was using the $7 Weber covers from Lowes, but I was buying 1 a year and figured I'd have my egg for while, so the $25 I spent on it was well worth it for me.

For my large, I use a 22.5 Weber kettle "premium" cover. It costs 20 dollars, it is very strong, fits well and is incognito.

Just received my Veranda brand covers off Amazon. beautiful cover but it does not fit a large egg. I'm in the process of a return. Next step, weber 22.5 "premium" cover. purchased one and it worked great. mine does have the weber label on it though.Greygoose

I have trouble with my large BGE cover fitting my egg with the shelves. Does anyone else have this problem? I wonder if the XL cover would work. Just wanting some advice from anyone that has had the same or similar issue. Thanks for the help!

I like a trashbag with rubber bands on the bottom. cheappaulthebearditspeaks.com. Go there. I write it.

I have a xl cover that I never use. Too much trouble to fold side tables and pull it on and off. Haven't covered mine in 4 years.

I'm using a vinyl tarp with a bungee strap...Never eat anything passed through a window unless you're a seagull ... BGE Lg.

I took the hit and bought the Egg one. It was expensive but the cheap covers I looked at weren't vented and I didn't want to have mold issues. So far so good with the Egg cover it seems to be a nice quality cover and it works well with my Egg Shelves which is a bonus.

I have a large egg table that I built that measures 63Lx29Wx32H. This is a little larger than x-large table that measures 60.5″ L x 31.5″ W x 32″ H. Do you think that the XL Cover would fit my table with these dimensions?
-
What are the dimensions for the XL table cover. I could not find them anywhere. I am in the same boat.
-
I got the older wood table that needs reinforcement every year. I like to cover the whole table, so I use an old atv cover and a bungee cord. Easy on, easy off, and leaving the bottom open prevents it from getting to musty.
-
I finally found a cover on Amazon. It's made by Patio Armor. The measurements were 65x30x45 which was perfect from table and egg.
