Happy Anniversary! What was the name of the place you stayed? We just came back from there and I'm ready to go again.Judy

Thanks Judy, sorry to hear that your Iris and Orchids did not produce. It may have been something about the weather. Orchids originally evolved out of the Iris's, they are some of the most highly evolved plants there are. I have never raised Iris (my photo is a wild one) but used to raise orchids. Orchids are very environ specific. Not the right light, not the right food, not the right moisture and they can be temperamental. If their foliage is too green and healthy looking they may not have enough stress to reproduce and will not bloom. They can be fussy little rascals.

Beautiful Judy! You have a real green thumb! That pink rose is gorgeous. I used to care for my mothers roses, they can be more work then orchids! Between black spot and bugs and liking to eat they can take some work.
