Anyone here own CrayCort Cast Iron Grates and how are they ? They have grates for the XL.
Happy 4th of July.
Bought their ci grate for the xl about five months ago. The grate has four sections that come off individually which makes it a bonus to load lump into the egg. I was on the fence about ordering it, but no regrets so far. Oh, and I made a raised grid with the original grate using stainless steel carriage bolts, washers and nuts.
I don't own one but check out this site he has very nice comments and very complimentary on them. Products/endorse
I have one for my large Egg but hardly ever use it now that I have my custom grid.
But I think it is a nice accessory, especially when you add the griddle insert.

Ordered a grate for an XL.
I have them for my large eggs and they are great. Been using them for a couple of years now. The optional griddle section is a plus. They are well made and worth the money
