Anyone here own CrayCort Cast Iron Grates and how are they ? They have grates for the XL.

Bought their ci grate for the xl about five months ago. The grate has four sections that come off individually which makes it a bonus to load lump into the egg. I was on the fence about ordering it, but no regrets so far. Oh, and I made a raised grid with the original grate using stainless steel carriage bolts, washers and nuts.

I have one for my large Egg but hardly ever use it now that I have my custom grid.

But I think it is a nice accessory, especially when you add the griddle insert.

I have them for my large eggs and they are great. Been using them for a couple of years now. The optional griddle section is a plus. They are well made and worth the money :)
