"New" BGE Logo and Identity?

I read the press release regarding the new logo and corporate identity for the BGE. After reading it I knew less than when I began reading it. As a trained professional journalist and editor, it really bugs me to see such corporatespeak and, in this case, a huge waste of bandwidth. Does anyone know anything substantial about what corporate is trying to accomplish?
