I've decided to move my large Egg from the table to a nest with side tables. I'm therefore going to give the table to anyone who would like to come and get it. (The Smithsonian turned me down.)
Yes, this is the table that put the T in table. The table that launched a thousand ships. The table featured in our "Build a Cart" webpage. I'm kinda' sad to see her go, but life moves on.
The table is in serviceable shape, but isn't as beautiful as she once was. There's a fair amount of water staining under the finish. I recently sanded her and gave her a new coat of finish, as well as repaired some wood rot around the top tile. I also fixed the wood rot problem by removing the cleats, repairing rot with Bondo and substituting brass L braces.
If you are interested, please email me through the board. First person to say "I want it" gets it. I'm located in Raleigh, NC, by the way. And if you asked really really pretty please nicely, I might agree to deliver within 10 miles or so. Otherwise, it's pickup only.
Thanks!
P.S. The 18 beer openers are not included. Instead, you get 36 holes which you can use any way you wish!

6hrs and 49 minutes to Raleigh had me thinking but can't do it. Great offer though!!

I don't know what you are up to but...You could always fix the top and close the hole and use it as a prep table next to your egg in a nest. I have two large eggs. One in a table and one in a nest with the handler bolted to it. I always use my table but, if I had it my way I would have both eggs in a nest and a table between them. Just sayin.
Or the person who gets your table could do the same. -
There will be a new table-ish thingy being added to the deck and so I have to make room. I've been considering getting rid of the table for a while since it is a pain in the neck cleaning and sanding and finishing it every year or two. Since I just did it, I thought now would be a good time to bite the bullet. The Naked Whiz

I'm closer to red than blue. Only 2 of the three sides are blue. And there are those annoying purples to the east, lol!The Naked Whiz

The holes are in the mail. I'm sending them air mail since they don't weigh much. I'm not sure how you will know when they arrive though, since they are hard to see once you take them out of the table. Oh well....The Naked Whiz
