Scott, I didn't read the whole thing Richard posted, but the dough needs to be at room temperature to be able to work with it.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

When I make my own dough it will work fine right out of the fridge. Publix on the other hand is like rubber. I have also bought some from a local pizza place and you get good dough also. Publix has been so far the worst.
