i rubbed the wings down last night. i used simply marvelous spicy apple and sweet and spicy and dizzy pig red eye express along with salt and pepper. we like our wings crispy, so about four hours before i cooked them at 325 (indirect), used some corn starch to help them crisp up. these turned out great. they were crispy as if we had fried them. dipped a few in some burnt fingers bbq sauce.

very inexact. sprinkled some on them and mixed them up with my hands and put them back in the refrigerator for a bit. -

The cornstarch works eh? Norma and I both like the wing part. so I have to do twice as many :(

Those look great (I am a drumette only fan). For a different twist, buy a steak style marinade at the grocery and try that next time. I grill them off that was and use no sauce. They are tasty

i'm assuming that's what did it. seems i read somewhere it worked. -
Those are some great looking wings. Next time, cook both parts of the wings and I'll come eat the flats. Those are my fav parts.
