I have had my topsy turvy for 3 years now, with your inspiration maybe I will get around to planting it this year. How many plants are in that first picture? Did you put the plant in upside down and let it grow or did you let the stalks grow like the last picture?
A couple of years ago I planted a 'salsa pot'. It had some of those short hot peppers in the top, then down the side 2 Tomato plants then going around the hanging pot, 3 jalapeno's, 3 bell peppers (brown, red, and green), 2 serrano's and another type of pepper. We also put a couple of wave petunia's for some additional color.
Nice crop you have going there Ross.

That is great!!!
We never could get out upside down planter to work. By the time tomatoes were starting to grow the hot sun cooked the roots. Herbs lasted a little longer.Large, small and mini now Egging in Rowlett Tx -
Those look good Ross. I have had my tomatoes in the ground for that long and they look pitiful. We have not had any sun to speak of this year. As a matter of fact we have rain again this weekend.Dave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney

I just kept slowly scrolling down, knowing, waiting, chuckling.

Staci, I was serious. I am not a smart man. I'm really interested in these.

Holy cow Ross, you're going to have a bumper crop. Mine have been in the ground for nearly 2 months. Getting lots of Sweet 100's, but the bigger guys are still green. Our temps have been so mild, hoping for a good crop this year. Sorry I'm not going to Eggs by the Bay this year!
