I have to thank the forum members who first posted about Pearl Frankfurters. I am not sure if it was MadMax, AZRP, RRP Strike but whoever it was thank you. For the last year I have been going all over Long Island trying to find the elusive Pearl Frankfurter with no luck. This weekend my wife and I visited a friend who has a house on the New York Massachusetts border. While driving I spotted a grocery store and asked them to pull over. I went in and there on the shelf were Pearls. I picked up 5 packages and my friend wondering what I was doing bought 3. When we got home last night I lit the egg and cooked some Pearls. All I can say is they were Freakin Great!!! So no more Nathans or Sabretts Franks for me, I have been converted.
Everyday is Saturday and tomorrow is always Sunday.

I totally concur. Word got out I had a connection and some Florida Sunshine Fest attendees have headed back to CA, PA, GA and a few other parts of the non-Pearl world with about 40#'s of dogs. Lost count after the long party at the beach.

Well that just blew the not coveting the neighbor's stuff. Ordering pearl's ends up the freight being more than the dogs.
Nathans are ok but nothing to scream about.

When in Michigan you will have to try Koegel's! I used to have a neighbor from Mass and she liked Koegel's best.

seeing that I have posted several times about my love affair for Pearls I'm glad you found them and like them.
Seeing I'm out here in Illinois then postage for the minimum order of 10 pounds is high but if you order twice that the per pound cost drops drastically. My last order of 20 pounds cost me in total about $8 a pound for franks and shipping - not that bad of a deal!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time. -
ys. i remember when you heard about them from sundown :laugh:ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante
