Bought short ribs at Sams last weekend. Wasn't sure what to do with them until I talked to my brother in CA. His wife is Korean and she was very gracious to share her family recipe. Here is the AMAZING outcome :woohoo:
Started with a 24 hr soak

On the small for 7 minutes each side indirect

    Care to share what was in the soak? Looks awesome!! ;) Understand if you don't since it is a family recipe.
    I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
    Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

    Scott,
    3 lbs short ribs
    1 cup water
    1 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    4 tbls white vinegar
    2 tbls pepper
    4 tbls sesame oil
    1/4 cup crushed garlic
    1 large onion diced.
    Soak a minimum 12 hours.
