Morning All:
Last Saturday evening was the family birthday party...four family (and/or in-laws) have a birthday in March, so one big party...we had about 20 people (counting the little ones) over...did a total of six "regular" pizza's and eight "tortilla" pizza's, plus a batch of ABT dip. The ABT dip was first and lasted about 10 minutes...here is a quick pic before the other half was devoured...
Next "the raws"...not sure if everything is in the pic (and still not sure why the phone was in the middle)...our daughter-in-law made the dough, a whole wheat dough that was FANTASTIC, that's it in the bags in the back...
Here was Wesley's pizza (our 4-year old grandson)...pepperoni and cheese only...
One of the tortilla pizza's included pulled pork, Asiago cheese, banana pepper rings and my BBQ sauce...quick and easy...
A "white" pizza put together by the ladies...used Alfredo for the sauce, some Asiago and mostly veggies...
Mostly veggies (can't understand that)...
The MEN'S pizza...my son used the remainder of the meats plus a bunch of cheese...this one was about 2" thick with toppings...
And the last one of the evening...
Everyone left complaining they ate too much!

If there's one thing eggheads know how to do it's throw a party, nice job Jay.

They all look good, and way better than going out to a pizza place with 20 people. Glad the crust was so good, that was nice of your DIL to make it. Dip looks good, I need to try that.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Hey SSN
Do you have a recipe for the ABT dip? -
Morning TG:
The ABT dip recipe was originally created by another forum member...mainegg...and is basically a "deconstructed ABT".
Here is a link to how I did it a couple months ago...ABT DIP LINK
My version is slightly different than mainegg's in that I add pulled pork to the cream cheese.
Hope this helps!Have a GREAT day!

Your pizzas looked amazing!!
Could you share the recipe for the ABT dip? The shot of that half devoured made me think about all the tailgate parties we host and that looked AWESOME! -

Looks like a fun party!
We have a lot of March birthdays in our family too. (My husband's is tomorrow.) One year before we moved away, my aunt had a party for all the relatives celebrating all the March birthdays. What is it about March? Or should I could back nine months and ask what is it about April? -
Looks like they all were a sucess!! Great Birthday party theme.Molly

You were slinging some pie off that Egg! Like that last one the best. Something about the rustic look on pizza crust I like best

Great job Jay
You know you did well when everyone eats too much
Shane -
Jay, I like the variety of pizzas and I can see why the ABT dip was devoured in 10 minutes, lol.
