Found a 19+ lb brisket on sale at Wally World for $1.88/lb. and have just simply been in the mood lately to cook one. Rubbed it up with 50% DP Red Eye, 25% Dizzy Dust and 25% Tsunami. Just went on about an hour ago (9:00pm eastern) and smoking with raw cherry scraps from the entertainment center my father-in-law is helping me build for the new 55 inch tv! More pics to come tomorrow morning.

Coming along nicely. Just woke up and checked it. Smoking along at 240 dome. BTW, the Wally World I got it was in Ruckersville, VA, about 10 minutes north of Charlottesville on 29. That's where my inlaws live and close to my F-I-L's wood shop. It's also where I stock up on Royal Oak when I'm visiting.

Looking good. Thanks for the info. We vac wrap leftovers and freeze in meal size servings, sliced to warm up later for no work brisket dinners. Sure did fill up your large. Jer

Pulled at about 198. Separated the point and flat. Double wrapped the flat in foil and then newspaper and sitting in the oven to rest (no, it's not on!). Cut up the point and added some Sweet Baby Rays and a bit of BGE bbq sauce (good, but very spicy for the timid) and put back on.

Turned out great...very satisfied for only my 2nd brisket.
