We had a number of unfortunate, fairly last minute cancelations and decided on the eve of the gathering to change the venue :pinch: Couldn't have been a better decision. The main 'Cabin' is owned by GW's uncle Tom and the sleeping quarters next door is owned by uncle Toms son. Another spectacular lake home that wasn't needed is on the other side of the log home, Owned by GW's parents. So it was more or less a 4 1/2 star compound :woohoo:
First, myself (on the left) and GW
Uncle Toms cabin
What a great weekend

No matter how much she whines about getting picked on, she seems to always be smiling.
Got DOW convinced she'd have more fun driving than riding.
She didn't hurry back
Wet some lines.
Dawson headed up the fishing operation and other than some break-offs on the tip-ups he put in his time and put fish in the bucket.
Headed for more beer :P

I was going to say great pics, but why is nobody on the lake fishing. Then I saw the ones below. Love the cabin. Great location. Love me some ice fishing. Looks like a great spot.

I'm impressed, you actually cut a hole in the ice this year. The kid got perch? Did you egg them up for him?

Which lake were you on? Nice place!

The place is about 25miles straight east of Mille Lacs on Big Pine Lake(s). Wish you could have made it.... You were close enough

A group of 20 of us from Crosslake spent the weekend in the Cities and went to St. Paul to watch the Wild beat up on St. Louis. Otherwise, I would have been there!
-
Maybe next year...
Boy the Wild sure didn't do a very good job of beating up the Canucks last night :pinch: :(
