i say just start it yourself. it had become "owned" and the rules started to get ridiculous, causing delays and complications.

if there is enough interest i will announce the secret ingredient this thursday.

create several dishes [or just one], ala iron chef , using the secret ingredient.
the egg must be featured prominently in your cooking...things like grits and pasta that are not easily done on the egg may be cooked on the big square thing in your kitchen.
competition ends at 11pm sunday to allow west coast eggers time to finish. this will give us all someting to look at monday when we should be working

remember the chef that tries to make icecream out of the secret ingredient generally does poorly.

i have not decided about judging yet as this is supposed to be FUN.

i have decided on the secret ingredient and suitable bribes for early notification are encouraged :evil:
