How much of a discount can you get if buying a demo egg from an Eggfest? Thinking of going to my first eggfest this year and thinking about buying an egg.

I ended up paying about $200 less than retail for my large. Even if you don't end up purchasing an egg, you should still go to an Eggfest just to take in all the wonderful dishes that are prepared by great people.

About 30%.

It seems to be different from eggfest to eggfest and sponsor to sponsor. Sometimes they have different packages and different breaks. You could probably expect anywhere from 10% to 20% from what I have experienced and heard.

Our dealer discounts them 10% but here's the deal - you can be the first to use it brand spanking new if you agree to cook on it at the Eggfest. One of those why not type of deals!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I bought my large at eggtoberfest in October. I paid $710. it came with a nest, a bag of lump and 2 tickets to the fest (40.00 each). So I either paid $630 and bought 2 tickets or paid $710 and got 2 free tickets. Either way I look at it, it was a good deal.

I forgot to mention...I purchased my large at the Austin eggfest last year for $720. That included the egg and the nest and a free ticket. I can't remember exactly what they were selling them for but I'm pretty sure it was around $740 for the egg and about $110 for the nest.

Will the warranty still be in tact?

Might be a little different this year for pricing. Just in the past few days the eggs were going to increase in price. I know a few people mentioned that the large was going to increase $100 or so. I know our local BGE rep gave us the heads up before the price jump a few months ago. I hope you can get last years deal and not have to pay the extra $100 increase.
