Did some great ribs tonight for my son's birthday. Thought I would shoot pics of the step by step process. We use Dr. BBQ's method of slow cooking and the three step process. We cook the ribs in the rib rack, Next, we packet the ribs in brown sugar, honey and apple juice, Finally, we cook the ribs and baste with sauce, then cut and serve. There are many pics here to see. Also, if you care to watch a video of the process, I created one a few years back that has helped a lot of newbies learn the process. The video can be seen here:

Great photos Phil, that is very similar to the way that I have been doing them posted HERE. Can you give us more details on times and temperatures? Thanks.

Those look delicious, and what a great sunset.
Not sure if you intended to do that, but putting the ribs meat down and in individual packets is critical to the success of this method. Another tip that makes a big difference is having all your foil sheets ready to go and your liquid heated, this way there is less interruption to the final tenderizing step.
On occasion I do large quantities of ribs finished in foil. Heheeheee.
Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
We cook them at 235 degrees for three hours, then put them in the foil packets for about 2 hours and then finish them on the egg and baste liberally for about 25 minutes.

Great advice. I have had good luck with this method. No one leaves the table hungry!
