Big Green Thermometer in my Big Green Egg

My thermometer came in today. I enlarged the hole with a masonry bit on slow. I drilled it from the front then the back so as not chip it out. It was still a little tight, so I ran a Dremel around the hole till the probe fit. Because I didn't bulkhead mount it, the probe doesn't stick in any further than the original one did.

I like it alot, I would need a little higher temperature max though. But very clean install.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.
