So when I first got my egg the plate setter was backordered and at the time I thought that I would get more use out of a handler instead of the eggmates that came with the grill package that was purchased. Now 2 months later I finally got the plate setter and they couldn't find the Handler so I took the eggmates instead. Now I want to install them but don't have anything to secure the spring. Has anyone done this on their own and have any suggestions?

Thanks Sparky, didn't quite have an idea what they were talking about the packing plastic when I didn't build it.

I'm assuming when it says to remove the band tensioning bolt they mean the bolt that is bent on the side of the bottom ring?
