Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster. I have had my Large for about 9 months without any issues. I cooked a few steaks tonight and didn't have much lump left so I let the egg continue going to use fresh lump later in the week. A few hours after, I checked on the egg and couldn't open. I believe I fired the gasket due to the smell and what looks like some small bubbling around the edge. So, how do I get the lid open so I can 1. continue to cook and 2. well, continue to cook? Also, anyone know where I can get a Rutland gasket in Buckhead, Atlanta?

Try to reheat it by dropping a starter cube down the top or some newspaper in the bottom vent. "Sparky" had a hardware store near Cumming that carried Rutland

I'm in Norcross, and my local Ace carries the Rutland. I know of several other Ace locations that do as well. Call yours and see if they stock it.
Good luck!
