Took my new puppy to the farmer's market and pet store yesterday. We found out from the vet she is actually 8 - 10 months old. And she went to the groomer on Friday, she is a real beauty and the best dog we could have hoped for. One cat is warming up to her. It's only been a week, the other will come around, hopefully soon.
Picked up some nice looking beets, salad greens, shallots and garlic at the Farmer's Market. A rack of lamb & goat cheese from Trader Joe's. Marinated the lamb in a Copolla Pinot Noir, red wine vinegar, mint sauce, garlic & shallot for a few hours. Put the beets and a sweet potato on the egg to roast. When they were almost done, threw the lamb on at 400 and let it go for about 10 minutes a side. Came out just perfect!
Made a salad with the beets, salad greens & goat cheese, the dressing was a shallot vinegrette.
Here is Bella after being groomed.
And with the big boy looking down.

Molly, our farmer's market runs from September to early June, too hot in the summer. The beets were sooooooo good.

Yep, that is my fiance's one a night slightly dirty martini. Ok, he may have had more than one on Saturday night. Bella is such a good dog, we are very lucky.

Teresa, Bella certainly lives up to her name!
Always like how you do lamb! -
A nice cook, Teresa. Love, love, love lamb on the egg. Our farmer's market is the same, only during the cooler months.
The puppy is a cutie pie.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
