wok care

i have a stiff pot brush. heat the wok up smoking, add a quarter cup cold water and hit it with the brush, anything stuck lifts off like gravey. not much sticks to mine now, i think its because i really turn the heat up and go with it, in the beginning i would turn he heat down to avoid burning things, now i turn the heat up to avoid burning things

i leave it in the wok ring and dont look at it :laugh: seems to stay oiled with stuff dripping over the sides and i might run a papertowel over it with oil if it looks like its going to rust

Like fishlessman says, get it hot and use a stiff non metal brush. The orientals make one of bamboo.
