I'm getting chest pains just looking at it! Looks like that basket weaving course paid off.

Wow! That looks awesome and I absolutely have to try it. I've found a couple of recipes, but they conflict with each other.
Did you cook indirect or direct? (i'm guessing indirect)
What dome temp did you cook at?
Did you sauce it with any kind of sauce during or after the cook? (I'm guessing no but the recipes I found called for such)
Also, was the bacon slightly crisp at the end of the cook? It looks crispy but appears to still slice well so I know it can't be too crispy.
Thanks in advance for the answers. I am definitely doing this one soon :cheer:Beautiful and lovely Villa Rica, Georgia -

I've made one a few times too, but we call them "Bacon Explosions".
They are great, particularly as a sandwich!War Eagle and pass the Sauce! -
Hub - Thanks for asking. Cooked indirect at 250 dome temp. Took a little over two hours to reach 165 deg internal. I did put some orange/chipolte dry rub on the inside but did not use any sauces. Since it was a breakfast cook we used maple syrup instead. The bacon was slightly crisp but did cut nicely. Go for it!
