We were going to do a fabulous BGE Prime Rib on Christmas Eve as we have for several years. I came down with flu/fever/sinus infection and haven't found it wise to venture outside in the cold to cook the roast. I am the only person who I have certified

to use the egg in our home. I still don't feel great but am tired of chicken noodle soup. We now need to eat the roast sooner rather than later and I am tempted to just throw it in the oven.
Any tips for cooking a roast in the oven? (it is already seasoned) It would be a first for me.
I wasn't sure if this would be considered a crime or a sin, but I thought I would confess and ask for help and forgiveness!

The same as you would in the egg.
