after some searching and even using google to search the forum, I haven't been able to find a set of pics of someone who had added in 3 additional grates to an XL (I believe it was 2 XL, 1 Lg and 1 md.

anyone have a link to the thread?

thanks in advance

LDD

Thanks Frank for reposting this link with the pics of the multi-level XL. I printed a few other pics of what the XL could do for my local dealer as he has one that is getting pretty dusty.

  • LDD, I got your email last night. Hope this link helps. http://www.eggheadforum.com/index.php?option=com_simpleboard&func=view&id=901845&catid=1#

I think I used a grid that came with the XLG, and a grid from the CeramicGrillStore, and 2 Weber grids (I think they were 21 inches), and a Weber firegrate for the top grid. I used firebricks and rocks for spacing and I took out the ceramic fire ring and placed my plate setter on the firebox to gain more room. The ribs came out great.
