BBQ Pitmasters on TLC Dec. 3rd

Sorry if this was already posted somewhere on the forum, I searched for it and couldn't find anything. I saw preview commercials for this show and there was one scene where they showed them cooking on 4 large green eggs. Can't wait to watch this series. I am sure that whoever they were filming is actually a member on here and if so I hope the exposure helps advance your cooking career. Also hope it helps sell more green eggs and brings them to many more homes.

TLC today announced that is has started production on the new docu-series BBQ PITMASTERS (wt), taking viewers into the high-stakes world of competitive barbecue. Following some of the biggest names on the circuit, each episode travels to a different competition and show viewers what it takes to win big in BBQ.

Eight one-hour episodes of BBQ PITMASTERS have been ordered, and is scheduled to premiere December 3 on TLC

The lady with the eggs is Lee Ann Whippen, a friend of Big Green Egg who runs a couple restaurants in Virginia. I think she will make us all proud!

Hi all, can't wait to see this series, about time somebody came up with a series about down to earth
bbq cuisine, getting tired of watching all these shows
with chefs cooking food that 99percent of us can't
even pronounce or will ever eat in our lifetime.
Does anyone know what time this thursday the 3rd
this bbq pitmaster show will be on tlc?

Too funny! I work for Discovery and didn't even know we were doing a BBQ show!

I couldn't wait till next week though, so I logged into the media center and found the first episode there. Wife and I just finished watching it...

Won't give away any spoilers, but suffice to say we both agreed it's a helluva fun show to watch... and you might as well fire up your Egg before you begin watching it because you WILL want to start cooking by the time you're done!

Oh, and the Egg does make quite a cameo in the show!

Good stuff, definitely worth Tivo'ing.
